Who: Lily Cole and Enrique Murciano

Lily Cole, 21, and her 35-year-old actor beau were rumoured to be engaged after she was spotted sporting what looked very much like an engagement ring while out in London’s Primrose Hill. The model, currently studying History of Art at Cambridge, dispelled marriage rumours by partying in Rome sans ring some weeks later. Enrique plays FBI agent Danny Taylor in Without A Trace and the couple have been keeping a low profile since they began dating just over a year ago.

Who: Adriana Lima and Marco Jaric

Victoria’s Secret model Adriana met her basketball-playing husband at a party in Los Angeles in 2006. The pair eloped to Jackson Hole in Wyoming on Valentine’s Day 2009. A few months later Adriana learned she was expecting Serbian Marco’s child.

Who: Naomi Campbell and Vladislav Doronin

Hot-blooded Naomi Campbell was first spotted kissing Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin in August 2008, and the pair have been inseparable since. The couple reportedly met at the Cannes film festival in May of that year, but reports also suggest that the 38-year-old billionaire, nicknamed Moscow’s Donald Trump, may be married. Not that that has cooled their relationship.

Who: Kate Moss and Jamie Hince

Back in September 2007, Kate Moss was said to be “in love and engaged” to new man, The Kills frontman Jamie Hince, just a month after breaking up with Pete Doherty. Many thought this was a rebound fling but almost two years later, and after many split rumours, the pair are still going strong. Whether or not the first engagement rumours were true, Kate was spotted shopping in Paris on 1 July sporting a huge rock on her left hand.

Jack White and Karen Elson

This quirky couple were married one month after meeting in May 2005, when Karen appeared in the White Stripes video for Blue Orchid. Their wedding was reported to have taken place in a canoe on the River Amazon and was officiated by a Shaman. On 2 May 2006 the pair had their first daughter Scarlett Teresa White and welcomed their second, Henry Lee, on August 7 2007. The famous couple live in Nashville Tennessee, where Elson manages the vintage clothing store Venus and Mars.

Who: Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham

Mark Wahlberg finally married his long-term girlfriend, model Rhea Duram, at a small ceremony on 1 August 2009. Mark and 31-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Rhea met and started dating in 2001, but briefly broke up after the birth of their first daughter Ella Rae, 5, in 2003. They now have three children, Ella, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Joseph.

Who: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Tyrone Woods

Burberry model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and son of the Rolling Stone’s Ronnie Wood, 24 year-old art dealer Tyrone, reportedly bought a new flat together in Ladbroke Grove last summer. The couple met at a Stones concert in Barcelona in 2007 and shortly afterwards Ty revealed in an interview that he was, “madly, deeply in love”. The pair have stuck it out through thick and thin, with Rosie had to deal with swathes of negative press after being pictured apparently smoking a bong -  while Ty’s family found themselves in the spotlight when father Ronnie landed in rehab after his fling with 20-year-old waitress Ekaterina Ivanova 

Who: Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady

Gorgeous Gisele Bundchen, who previously dated Leonardo DiCaprio, married her American footballer boyfriend on 26 February 2009. Brady, 31, and Bundchen, 28, were engaged for just a month before they tied the knot. Gisele is now expecting her first child with Tom, and the couple have John Edward, 2, from Tom’s relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.

Who: Heidi Klum and Seal

Heidi began a relationship with singer Seal in early 2004, while still pregnant from her relationship with Flavio Briatore (who was caught kissing jewellery heiress Fiona Swarovski on the day she announced her pregnancy). Klum has stated since that although Briatore is the girl’s biological dad, “Seal is Leni’s father”. Klum and Seal married in Mexico on 10 May 2005. They have two boys together, Henry Günther, 3, and Johan Riley, 2, and have announced they are expecting a girl in October 2009.

Who: Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom

Model of the moment Miranda Kerr steps out with Pirates Of The Caribbean star Orlando Bloom and his reluctance to be apart from the 26-year-old Australian is said to be one of the main reasons why 32-year-old Orlando won’t be appearing in the film franchise’s recently announced fourth instalment. Last month they were spotted viewing houses together in Los Angeles and it’s been reported that Bloom and Kerr are looking at buying a $13 million Malibu home together. Miranda is said to have twice turned down Bloom’s marriage proposals, but he plans to ask again this summer. 

Who: Caleb Followill and Lily Aldridge

It’s a rare pap sighting of Kings Of Leon front man Caleb Followill and his model girlfriend Lily Aldridge. Lily appears in the video for the smash KOL track Use Somebody, and the pair have reportedly been dating since 2007.
