Claridge's Hotel, an iconic spot in London's Mayfair, has really outdone itself this season. They've put up a very special Christmas tree that was created by John Galliano.

The hotel wanted to do something different, while reflecting the traditional style of the season. They wanted to take inspiration from the cold weather, but also from a wilder, more natural style. And so, designer John Galliano froze a tropical tree and added some dragonflies, leopards and parrots in varying blue tones.

The creation was inspired by the art deco style of the hotel. Philippe Leboeuf feels that the collaboration with the Dior designer, who has such a sophisticated understanding of heritage, is an important landmark for the hotel.

John Galliano's aim was to bring together the spirit of Dior and the beauty of the hotel, creating something spectacular to inspire us this holiday season.
